The Victorian Reports (known as the Victorian Law Reports until 1957) contain significant cases from the Supreme Court in its first decisions and appeal decisions. Some 70-75 cases are selected for inclusion annually on the criteria that they may introduce a new principle or rule of law, contain information relevant to an important practice or procedure, or are otherwise instructive or helpful. They are selected by The Council’s appointed editor, currently Mr Peter G Willis SC.

The site is the most comprehensive collection of the Victorian Reports, with each Volume fully indexed and accessible from 1905. Additionally, nominate reports dating back to 1876 are available in various forms.

In an effort to make the Victorian Reports as accessible as possible, you are able to view cases from any given volume in a pay-per-view style. In addition, annual and monthly subscriptions are available and grant full access to all content on the sight. Affordable quality bound volumes, as well as parts, are available for purchase.
