When working on large matters or projects, many hands make light work. That’s why with Jade, you’re able to work collaboratively with your colleagues in every aspect of your research.

You can choose who you want to share your work with through the ‘groups, matters and projects’ panel under ‘My Jade’.

Think of Groups, Matters and Projects as different funnels for narrowing down who you want to share your research with. Groups are the most general, and allow sharing with a large number of users and could include your whole Chambers or Firm. Matters are collections focused on a particular legal matter and can be shared with whoever is working on the matter. Projects are smaller collections for specific tasks. You can manage all group, matter or project members and their editorial ability here as well.

Sharing on Jade typically follows a similar pattern no matter what kind of content you want to share. When creating a new Jademark or Alert, you’ll be asked which group, matter or project you’d like to share with. You can also share documents you upload using our document upload feature (see our video on this feature), there is a share button on the top right of the document.
